A girl was stabbed with Knife in public road at Ratopul, Kathmandu. This is the incident that happened few days ago where the victim lost her life. The attacker was later arrested by the police when her parents reported the suspect to the police. Here is an interview with the man who killed the lady Ritu Mahaset who was on her way to attend a marriage ceremony. She use to stay on a hostel nearby. Bimalesh Yadav the murderer used to stay at Ritu’s house long ago, both of them fall in love and Ritu shifted to Kathmandu for her studies. As Ritu began to ignore him day by day Bimalesh couldn’t control himself, he couldn’t think his life without Ritu so he killed her, Bimalesh states in the interview.

The program “Purple Fest” that was scheduled on Kathmandu by NCELL was recently cancelled after the Chief District Officer Ek Narayan Aryal informed the organizer. As per the security department of Nepal suggested not to perform the program due to the date for the constitution is nearby so it is not safe to organize such big events on such situation. More than 13000 tickets were already sold for the event as popular Indian comedian Kapil Sharma, Sonu Nigam including many Nepali singers and performers were about to perform on Purple Fest. Sonu Nigam cancelled his trip to Nepal after the cancellation where as Kapil arrived in the capital, had a little chit chat with media reporters, visited Pashupatinath Temple and flew back to India. An earthquake with 5.9 magnitude hit eastern Nepal and surrounding cities. Including the capital city with respect to the epicenter at Solukhumbu which is around 123 km east from Kathmandu, the earthquake occurred at 9:17 pm. Till now no any casualties are reported yet.

According to National Seismological Center Nepal, there were two earth quakes of which the another was with 4.5 magnitude with epicenter in Gorkha district.

The popular social media site Facebook was flooded with earthquake status within few seconds it hit the capital.
