It was just few months Nepali Movie Industry lost a talented Nepali actor Shree Krishna Shrestha. The last movie by Shree “Kohinoor” was the only movie to collect big amount in the cine industry. The movie “Kohinoor” was pirated via Youtube by a Channel named “OfficeUse” who had unlisted the movie. It was just a week that another Nepali movie “Kabaddi” became the victim of Piracy. The movie crew reported the movie is not now available on Youtube. Kohinoor was uploaded few days ago which is now successfully removed from Youtube.
The movie unit organized a press meet where they expressed bad feeling against piracy. The producer of the movie Chandra Shrestha requested all the audiences not to upload it on sites like Youtube who have the copy of the movie. He also promised to the audience worldwide, to make the best copy of the movie available for them.
Director Aakash Adhikarik urged to punish the guilty according to the law under the provision of cyber crime. He said “such piracy is a loss for the whole Nepali fraternity”.
Now a days, rapid search is being conducted against those involved in piracy illegally. “Due to false address and information these people are hard to catch, but they would be under custody shortly”, the film unit believes.
It is to be remembered that the film was uploaded to YouTube on Dec 15, which earned a total views of around 1700. “Kohinoor”, which released on 23rd Shrawan, is the movie which did the highest business till now. Late Sri Krishna Shrestha, Shweta khadka, Mithila Sharma,etc are the starcast in the movie.
Sadly, two days after the release of the movie, the veteran actor died of illness.
