It was just few months Nepali Movie Industry lost a talented Nepali actor Shree Krishna Shrestha. The last movie by Shree “Kohinoor” was the only movie to collect big amount in the cine industry. The movie “Kohinoor” was pirated via Youtube by a Channel named “OfficeUse” who had unlisted the movie. It was just a week that another Nepali movie “Kabaddi” became the victim of Piracy. The movie crew reported the movie is not now available on Youtube. Kohinoor was uploaded few days ago which is now successfully removed from Youtube.

The movie unit organized a press meet where they expressed bad feeling against piracy. The producer of the movie Chandra Shrestha requested all the audiences not to upload it on sites like Youtube who have the copy of the movie. He also promised to the audience worldwide, to make the best copy of the movie available for them.

Director Aakash Adhikarik urged to punish the guilty according to the law under the provision of cyber crime. He said “such piracy is a loss for the whole Nepali fraternity”.

Now a days, rapid search is being conducted against those involved in piracy illegally. “Due to false address and information these people are hard to catch, but they would be under custody shortly”, the film unit believes.

It is to be remembered that the film was uploaded to YouTube on Dec 15, which earned a total views of around 1700. “Kohinoor”, which released on 23rd Shrawan, is the movie which did the highest business till now. Late Sri Krishna Shrestha, Shweta khadka, Mithila Sharma,etc are the starcast in the movie.

Sadly, two days after the release of the movie, the veteran actor died of illness.

We cab assume the movie is a social drama about present husband and wives who are not trustworthy in their married life. The production of Dwarika Production which is a Pradeep Uday company, Nepali movie Ardhakatti’s 31 second teaser has recently released. The movie is directed by Subrat Acharya.

Ardhakatti starring Wilson Bikram Rai, Gaurav Pahari, Pradeep Bastola, Asishma Nakarmi, Rishta Basnet, Gajit Bista and Namrata Shrestha in the lead role is a comedy genre movie. The release date of the movie is not yet confirmed although the teaser is released for the Australia premier which is just 31 second long showing the main characters of the film. The movie is being premiered on 1st of February in Sydney.

The director of Nepali movies “Honeymoon Night” and “Tarang” Laxman Sunar is directing another movie “Rangila”. The movie is being produced under the banner of S Productions featuring Rajesh Hamal in a different role. Laxman has directed more than 50 music videos.

Rangila is a action and love story movie featuring Rain Thapa in the lead role. Rain’s movie “Euta Sathi” has released last month doing an average business in the Box office.

Sahil Khadka is composing the music for the movie. Samrat Basnet will be directing the action in the movie as the crew be going in the floor from Falgun. Rangila is being produced by Rain Thapa.

Harihar Adhikari, the young astrologer of Nepal who was the one behind the marriage of super star of Nepal Rajesh Hamal has recently suggested actress Rekha Thapa not to go with Love Marriage. While talking with Rekha on his show “Tapaiko Bholi” that broadcasts on Bhakti Darshan Television Channel Adhikari has suggested Rekha about her marriage.
According to Harihar Rekha should do arrange marriage before 10th Jestha 2074 for her happy married life. If she tries for love marriage then it might not last longer. Rekha was married to Chhabiraj Ojha and lived together for around 12 years. They divorced last year which one of the top gossip in Kollywood.

Team members of Nepali movie Nai Na Bhannu La 3 have released the third song entitled Yo mann baru dhunga bhaye hunthio. The song was sung by Sanyog Yogi, son of singer Sisir Yogi. Musician Basant Sapkota has given the music for the song which was written by Bikash Acharya.

Nai Na Bhannu La 2, which is the prequel to Nai Na Bhannu La 3, was sequel of Nai Na Bhannu La movie which was released last year and went on to became highest grossing movie of that year. Many had the opinion that success of the movie was mostly because of popularity of songs in the movie. Songs entitled Marna kasailai rahar hudeina from the movie was very liked by the audiences and it became so popular that Prem Pariyar who sang that song became renowned for it throughout the nation within very short time interval.

But all the released songs from to be released movie weren’t able to create any such sensations that could be compared to the previous lots and haven’t brought any success that were expected. After the title song from the movie was posted in Youtube it has been able to garner more than two lakh viewers but very few enthusiastic comments could be seen. By so far they have only got tepid response from audiences. Many people were simply mentioning Prem Pariyar and wanted his voice to be in new song too.

Although the title song didn’t get any success that was expected from it, song Kammar mathi patuki from the same movie has become able to garner some positive feed backs. That song which was made in folk tune has been liked by many. Many who had listened the song also opines that they have heard such melodious song after long time interval in Nepali movie. Not only the song but also the voice in the song, which belongs to Melina Rai, was also favored by people.

According to information obtained from production team members movie Chankhey Shankhey Pankhey will release on 1st Jestha of upcoming year. The movie shares its release date with Bollywood film Bombay Velvet which has been awaited by many Indian movie lovers.

Since Bombay Velvet stars Ranbir Kapoor who has massive fan following not only in India but also in many countries across the world including Nepal. Also prominent director Karan Johar who has directed many hit movies in Bollywood is playing major role in the movie too. This makes the movie Bombay velvet one of the most awaited upcoming movie. Thus it will be imprudent to think that clashing of release date won’t create any effect on the Nepali movie business. But still producers are quite sure and maybe hopeful that Ranbir Kapoor’s movie won’t cause any massive effect on movie business as those made by the Khan trios so they have chosen the same release date.

Production team of Chankhey Shankhey Pankhey are planning to hold first premiere show in Bahrain on 17 April. They are also thinking of taking part in social activities for the movie’s promotion and are scheduling to do a charity show in Syanga bazar. Producer Santosh Sen says that movie is combined recipe of comedy and patriotism containing serious national subject matters and thus they were planning to do charity shows too for the same reason.

Sudarshan Thapa is the director of the movie. He is known as a very able and skilled Nepali director and has already directed many movies before this. Along with direction he has also acted in this movie. Beside Sudarshan we can see Subash Thapa, Prem Puri, Nandita KC, Puja Sharma etc also playing parts in the movie.
