The director of successful Nepali Movies like “Kasle Choryo Mero Man” and “Kali” Sabir Shrestha is back with his production Nepali Movie “Tathastu“. As we have seen Sabir featuring Rekha Thapa in his movies as lead actress which he continued in the movie Tathastu.  Tathastu is said to be a women’s story movie and as we can see Rekha Thapa doing various stunts and actions. The movie Tathastu is a joint venture of Sabir Shrestha with Ramhari Dhital has fixed its release date on 25th Poush.

Nepali movie Tathastu stars Rekha Thapa, Subash Thapa, Kishor Khatiwoda and Bigyan Joshi in the lead roles. The story of the movie is written by Jagdishor Thapa, music by Sambhujeet Baskota with the dances choreographed by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Ramji Lamichhane. Roshan Shrestha is the dance director of the movie as filmed by Babu Shrestha.

Sati, a women who sacrifices her life along with the dead body of her husband. Popular story writer Krishna Dharabasi has written a novel “Jhola” in the story of a Sati which later on was produced as a movie “Jhola” that won awards in SAARC Film festivals. The movie with the lead role of Garima Panta was able to do good business in Nepal.
In the movie Garima marries to a 40 years senior man, after few years giving birth to a son the husband dies of illness. Villagers takes the dead body and Garima to burn along riverside. But Garima somehow escapes herself from being burnt as she is found by her son the next day. A minimum of ten passengers were killed when a bus NA 4 Kha 6857 met with an accident in Pakheri Khanda VDC of Surkhet district. The bus was on the way to Tikapur of Kailali District from Kalikot which met an accident Sunday evening. About twenty six passengers were rescued and taken to Birendranagar for further treatment. The bus had plummeted around 500 meters down the road at Kali Khola.


Local police reported that 51 passengers were on the bus travelling to Tikapur and a team of police has already reached on the location for rescue operation. The reason behind the accident is yet unknown and police are on the process to find it out.

A 21 years old boy Chhiring Tamang killed his own grandmother who had arrived to stay for some day at her daughter’s home at Bijeshori, Kathmandu. The 86 years old grandmother Damu Tamang had arrived just before five days to her young daughter’s house. The boy used kitchen weapons like knife and Chulesi to charge his grandmother. According to him he was annoyed by grandmothers sound during sleep as a result he killed her in the morning and separated her head from the body. When local police arrived to the house he was standing with the head at the door without any hesitation. Police suspect the boy uses drugs and he may have done the crime because of the use of drugs. The boy don’t have any regrets on his deeds as he frankly speaks to the camera that he is happy for what he did to his grandmother.
