Two people were killed on a road accident Saturday afternoon in Chitwan. The accident took place when the bike tried to overtake a truck and it was mangled with another truck.
The bike Ga 3 Pa 2581 which was heading towards Narayangadh was collapsed by two trucks Se 1 Kha 865 and Na 1 Ka 3345 resulting the death of both riding on the bike. The deceased has been identified as Mukti Bahadur BK (22) from Deurali of Gorkha District. Mukti was riding the bike while the pillion rider has not yet been verified.
Both the riders died on the way to Bharatpur Hospital as they were serious after hitting the accident.
As the preliminary investigations suggested that the accident took place after the bike tried to overtake a truck and the other truck tried to overtake them simultaneously.
The truck driver of the second truck ran away and police is searching for him. All the vehicles are now under custody of local police.
